I offer specialized coaching services for those experiencing narcissistic abuse in their relationships. These can include intimate relationships, spouses, parent/child, siblings, friends and colleagues. A relationship with a narcissist can be extremely isolating. You feel trapped; stuck in the relationship for reasons that may include lack of outside support, limited access to finances, fear of losing your job or even your children. Self-esteem and self-worth are also critically impacted. You may believe this is entirely your fault; that you deserve the abuse. You also may doubt your perceptions of the abuse, having lost trust in your own reality over time.

For those who have left their narcissistic relationship — I’m proud of you. Leaving a narcissist is unbelievably difficult, emotionally draining, and scary. Unfortunately, the abuse tactics of a narcissist often do not end when the relationship does. Narcissistic abuse can continue long after the relationship has ended, something known as post-separation abuse. Often times, the abuse experienced post-separation can be worse than the abuse experienced during the relationship itself.

I will help you develop, implement, and maintain boundaries and offer you concrete strategies tailored to your particular relationship needs.     Leaving a narcissist is an extremely difficult and scary process. It is not uncommon for people to leave and go back multiple times before leaving for good. The process of separating one’s self from a narcissistic relationship requires a safe exit strategy that includes full-proof boundaries, social and financial support, and tools to combat post-separation abuse.

    The Leaving for the Last Time package includes:

    • A detailed exploration of the identified relationship with a special emphasis on exiting, including identification of potential barriers to leaving.

    • A customized behavior plan that includes carefully crafted safe exit strategies and the actionable steps needed to begin the process of leaving.

    • A one sheet summary highlighting the main take away points from your coaching session.

    • A link to Dr. Z’s narcissism information packet that includes key concepts, proper terminology, and facts about narcissism and narcissistic abuse in relationships.

    • A password protected link to the recording of your coaching session so that you may refer to it at any point in the future.

    • Three weeks of email access to Dr. Z after your coaching session for follow-up support if needed. Dr. Z will respond to all emails within 24 hours between Monday 9am - Friday 5pm.

    • An additional 30 minute follow-up session to be used within two weeks of your initial coaching appointment. This time is used for reviewing or revising your existing behavior plan and to provide additional support as needed.

    A relationship with a narcissist is multilayered and complex. It may take more than one coaching session to address your specific needs.

    Based on Dr. Z’s recommendations, you may decide to schedule an additional follow-up session.

    The Relationship Review includes:

    • Reassess and revise implemented strategies and boundaries as needed.
